About The Wentworth
The Wentworth Guest House in Paignton has ten en-suite bedrooms. We offer our guests a friendly, peaceful, relaxing atmosphere in which to enjoy their stay.
Our quiet park-side location is separate from the noisy, hustle and bustle of the busy holiday resort, but we are within a short walking distance of all the attractions.
Goodrington's sandy Beaches, North and South, are very close by, at the end of the road (200 metres). They have the Blue Flag and Quality Coastal Award 2011. Long sandy beach with Seashore Centre, Quaywest Waterpark, Youngs Park and Inn on the Quay all right behind the beach. Plenty of kiosks, toilets and amusements, swimming safe with care, deckchair and sunbed hire. Dogs allowed on North Sands only in the summer months. Excellent low tide rockpooling - call into the Seashore Centre to find out what to look for.
New for 2011 - Childrens play ground and Bandstand.
We are adjacent to Youngs Park, with the beach, and facilities of Quay West about 200 metres away. There are many other local attractions nearby, including Paignton Zoo. The Paignton to Dartmouth Steam Railway runs nearby, with Goodrington Station just across the park.
We welcome walking groups as we are on the coastal path.
We have one room that we welcome one well behaved small to medium dog. This room has its own front door just a few steps away from the park. Please ring the guest house first to tell us about your dog.
