Walking The South West Coast Path Near Paignton

Paignton to Brixham - A Coastal Favourite

The walk from Paignton to Brixham is a favourite with many visitors. Following the path along Goodrington Sands, passing Broadsands Beach, Elberry Cove, Churston and Fishcombe Cove, along the harbour at Brixham and up to Berryhead Nature Reserve, one of the highlights of the area, offering panoramic views across Torbay.

Brixham makes the perfect destination for a spot of souvenir shopping, refreshments and sight seeing, there are also frequent buses back to Paignton.

Paignton to Torquay - Cliff Views and Hidden Coves

Heading in the opposite direction, the path heading towards Torquay offers a flatter, paved route with equally impressive scenery. Walkers pass quiet coves, red sandstone cliffs and lush coastal greenery as the path winds towards Torquay's lively harbour and marina. Here you will find many local eateries, museums and a plethora of shopping outlets.
